Marriage as mission.
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Joshua says it as a decision already made, not a hope he is entertaining.
A marriage that only survives is not neutral. Children learn what a man is from watching one. Emotional steadiness in the home is discipleship whether or not anyone calls it that. The question at the end of four weeks is not whether your marriage has problems. It is whether it is building something that outlasts you.
